Clinical Supervision

Essentials for Your Clinical Growth and Supervision Journey

Supervision is a dedicated space for therapists to reflect, grow, and strengthen their clinical practice. As a clinical supervisor, I offer a warm, collaborative, strengths-based environment grounded in a systemic lens. Supervision is not one-size-fits-all—your unique clinical style and therapeutic voice are honoured and supported as you navigate the complexities of your work.

A core aspect of our work together is developing the discipline not just to hear—but to truly listen to your clients. This means tuning in beyond words to notice tone, emotion, body language, and what may be unspoken. Deep, attuned listening enhances therapeutic presence, fosters connection, and strengthens your ability to respond with clarity and care.

We also explore the use of self in therapy—how you are informs your presence in the room. I encourage you to trust your intuition as a source of wisdom and reflect on how it guides your work.

Our conversations often focus on the safe and effective use of self, helping you remain grounded in both your clinical insight and your humanity.

Supervision also provides space to integrate culturally responsive practices thoughtfully. We examine how power, privilege, and social location impact the therapeutic relationship and reflect on systemic inequities in clinical work. Together, we approach these dynamics with humility, curiosity, and a commitment to social justice within ourselves and the profession.

Ultimately, supervision is about learning, unlearning, and deepening your connection to the heart of your work—as a therapist and as a human being.

Individual Clinical Supervision

For therapists seeking to deepen self-reflective practice and engage with a culturally responsive framework where cultural backgrounds influence power imbalances. Individual supervision offers a supportive and tailored space for growth. This one-on-one process also supports meeting professional requirements for regulatory bodies such as the CRPO.

Paired (Dyad) Clinical Supervision

Engaging in supervision as a pair offers a unique balance of personalized guidance and collaborative learning. With Meredith Coffin, two therapists are thoughtfully matched—particularly those interested in exploring and applying ecotherapy in their practice. This format also qualifies as individual supervision for CRPO purposes.

Group Clinical Supervision

Our group supervision provides a supportive and collaborative space, fostering an atmosphere of safety, openness, and mutual respect. Therapists engage in meaningful dialogue, exploring diverse therapeutic approaches and integrating these modalities thoughtfully into their clinical practice. Virtual group sessions accommodate up to 8 therapists, aligning with CRPO requirements, and ensuring each supervisee receives dedicated attention in a focused learning environment.
