We often don’t treat our mental health with the same urgency as our physical health. For example, if we see that we have an injury, typically, we are quick to respond to the body’s signs that it needs help.
Battling the stigma around mental health is a much more significant challenge. We frequently don’t pay attention to our mental well-being due to our culture’s beliefs, the conditioning we undergo throughout childhood, and the stigma around the traumas we experience later in life.

About Vivian Noehring
I spent a combined of 28 years as a registered psychotherapist and a registered nurse. As an RN, I worked with various medical professionals and specialists in pediatrics, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation and the operating room. The breadth of knowledge I gained working in the medical industry allowed me to build my experience around an empathetic, evidence-based, and psychodynamic approach to addressing the root causes of emotional conditions.
Helping patients battle physical challenges and traumas’ impact consistently struck me on an individual’s mental health. Unfortunately, these wounds were often harder to heal due to the complexity of mental health issues and our society’s stigma attached to the emotional and psychological realm. After completing two voluntary medical missions, I dedicated my practice to mental health and have been helping clients cope with emotional concerns ever since.
With this deep understanding of the full impact of physical and mental health, I developed a vision for building a team of mental health practitioners with expertise in various specialties and a unique capacity for empathy, kindness, and client-focused care.
